Bullet Heaven 2 has been Greenlit on Steam!
Ended up with 2,677 yes votes over 10 days. Definitely a bit faster than the 6 months or so it took EBF4 to be Greenlit, so that’s nice.

I’m planning to put BH2 up on Kongregate and Steam for the same prices as EBF4: $10/$12.
The Kongregate version will be out first as usual, and anyone who buys the expansion pack there can email me for a free Steam copy later, if they want one. Of course the game will also be available on Newgrounds and other websites, but the paid content will be missing.

The final Bullet Heaven 2 beta is up on my site. It's pretty much the final web version now.
Please read the instructions and test out some of the new features, if you wanna help me out and test the game!

Controllers should work now, languages have been added, the final boss has been upgraded, and a lot of other cool stuff!

Hay guys, the Steam Greenlight page for Bullet Heaven 2 is up!
Go vote for it if you're a Steam user please, it'll help me publish the game faster!
I also made a cool trailer for it, which I hope you guys like!

The game's almost finished - I'll be doing a final round of beta testing soon.
The Steam version will be released a little later than the web version, but hopefully not that much later.

Hay guys, I'm fixing the last few bugs and adding a final few features before putting Bullet Heaven 2 up for public beta testing. Testers will obviously find a ton of broken stuff, but for now the game is almost finished!

I’m currently working on a widescreen mode for the Steam version. There’s not much practical difference, but you’ll get a nicer HUD, with player icons that react to damage and other stuff. It’s kind of cute.

Meanwhile, I’m animating the final boss of Bullet Heaven 2.
I'll be keeping this one a secret, even though in the past I've always spoiled the final boss for people.

Hey guys, I've been taking a break from making games and mostly been cleaning up the house and figuring out personal finances and other boring stuff.

I've been doing a lot of traditional drawing though! Been drawing tons of monsters, a lot of which will end up in Epic Battle Fantasy 5 one day. You can see a lot more of them on my website.

Hey guys, I'm still working on the premium bosses for Bullet Heaven 2!

Speaking of which, here's the plans for the paid versions of the game:
• The 9 or 10 extra bosses I’m working on now.
• A randomized endless survival level for each world, limited to one life, no cheats.
• 3 of the playable characters: Slime Bunny, Dry NoLegs and Phyrnna.

So that works out to an extra 20 levels added to the 50 free levels.

The Steam version will have some more improvements:
• Support for widescreen and different resolutions. I’ll put a better HUD at the sides.
• HD graphics and uncompressed audio.
• The usual Steam features: Cloud, cards, achievements, etc.

The Kongregate version will be released first, with the Steam version a bit later. I’ll be posting the game on other sites too, but the premium version will probably only be available on Kongregate.

I’m aiming to have a similar price to EBF4 on each service, but that’s not decided yet.

Oh, and people who buy the game on Kongregate before it’s released on Steam can ask me for a free Steam copy later, if they would prefer that. I’ve been doing the same thing with EBF4 for anyone who asks.

I'm still working on bonus bosses for Bullet Heaven 2. They're coming along quite quickly like I hoped. :D
I've drawn most of them and have started programming their attack patterns.

I’m also playing the Majora’s Mask remake, so that’s fun. And lots of Mario Kart 8.

Hay guys, Bullet Heaven 2 is approaching completion and I'm now working on paid content for the Kongregate and Steam versions. This includes new versions of each boss in the game. Here's the first 3 I've re-skinned.
They're mostly going to play like completely different bosses, just sharing the animations of the originals.

Other paid extras include 3 playable characters, and an endless survival level for each world. Not sure about the cost yet, but I'm aiming for something similar to EBF4.

Almost done with the menus in Bullet Heaven 2!
Once I plug them into the rest of the game, all of the essential features will be complete!
That still leaves dialogue, tutorials, achievements, and tons of polishing and debugging... but I think things are coming along nicely.

Here’s how multiplayer works btw:
Everyone’s attack power is lowered, but the total is still higher than on single player. Everyone has one life, but they respawn after a few seconds as long as someone is still alive. Bombs are shared. Enemies will always target the nearest player to them, making cooperation vital if you don’t want bullets scattered in the wrong places. It'll be local multiplayer.
