Hello! I am sorta hobbyist dev (mostly silly rpgmaker stuff I laugh at with friends and then forget) but I do have this slooowly progressing game about player playing courier and trying to find the adventurer client in the city to deliver a parcel.
I was wondering if you would be fine with me having reference to EBF in it, something like small cutscene where player can see the five protags walk into separate area in dungeon and loot chest in there before leaving some commentary and leaving.
Would you be fine with that and if yes with conditions, what would those conditions be? I don't think it will EVER be put on sale anywhere.

That's totally fine. If it's a free project for fun, you can pretty much do whatever you like.
If it's for profit, I just ask you make your own art assets for any references.
Whats your opinion on horses?
I think their proportions are kind of unappealing.
Cows are similar but a bit more aesthetically pleasing.

I've not seriously considered any consoles.

How's Hidden Cats going?
Slower than I wanted it to, but it's going to be the best game in the Where's Waldo genre, probably.

I don't think having more money would change my process at all.
if I have a 7 years old computer then should I replace it? Still useable but it’s basically on life support considering how many external attachments needed for it to be USEABLE.
It's probably fine if it does what you need it to.

Not really. Poki seems like it's popular for web gaming, but I don't really like their developer terms.

I think they should get whatever healthcare is empirically shown to improve their quality of life, and people should accommodate their needs to a reasonable degree.
Is there going to be an EBF6? If yes have you already started working on it and when can we expect it coming out? EBF5 was already 5 years ago we can go so much time without a new EBF
If not are there any other games you are working on expect Matt's Hidden Cats?
I can only work on so many things at a time - but you should consider trying out some of the EBF5 mods that the guys on the EBF Discord are working on.
I do have a document with EBF6 ideas though.

There's a LOT of finished levels. Gotta wrap them all up with some plot and UI soon, and polish things up in general.

Did you ever expect the EBF series to get as big as it is now around the time you released EBF3?
It was reasonable to assume, considering how popular some web games were at the time.
I felt like I could do about as well as other games.
