do you have a secret laboratory
Since EBF5 is the only canon game, wouldn't any ideas for a sequel be virtually endless?
Also minor question, would you consider Matt and Natalie to be a thing after the events of the game? (I'm not a shipper, but just the interactions alone from start to finish gives me hints of them growing closer)
(Also Matt, thanks for all the years of great games! I appreciate all the work you put into these! You're the best!)
Did you get the good ending in EBF5?
Heya Chief, I have practically gone through every comment before writing this.
As my childhood website, I love it that people still remember Newgrounds, it's wonderful, anyways!
Here goes my question, hopefully my brain managed to keep all the comments I read in my brain and I am not repeating any, here it goes.
Why are you this amazing my guy?
I try.
Thanks.
EBF6 was fun, but will they make EBF7?
Already deleted EBF7.
1. how do you motivate yourself to do stuff? ive been sitting on a massive project for a long time, but every time i pick up the ol metaphorical pen, i just stop dead in my tracks.
2. any plans to add sex to epic battle fantasy?
3. do you have a job outside of being a game dev? if so, can you tell us what it is? (or at least the general idea)
1. It helps that I get paid well and lots of people seem to like what I do.
2. It could be happening offscreen, you never know.
3. Never had a real job.
Are you doing well?
Apart from stressing about world news, yeah.
@pikachuguy19 @matt-likes-swords Ouch. That's kind of true about Millenials, though.
What artists inspired you growing up that influenced your art style? It's very distinct.
Also have you considered making an EBF spin-off roguelike entry, similar to EBF 1's gameplay but essentially endless and procedurally randomized? Or making any future creative projects in general?
NCH85's early Flash stuff probably more than any other.
Games like Maple Story, Golden Sun, Zelda, etc.
I think some of the modders have made more randomized versions of EBF5, but I haven't played any of those yet.
Would it be fine if i used Phyrnna's songs in a project (crediting them obv)
You should go ask them instead.
Pizza Crunch or Scotch Pie?
Where am I? What's going on? Please I just wanna go home...
sorry to ask but is there a slight possible chance you might still put epic battle fantasy 4 on IOS? i don’t have a computer anymore but i used to really like that game and i wanna play it again :)
I really should, but it's such a pain, and it looks like Apple is gonna drop dev support for my older MacBook soon, so I'm not sure there's much point now unless I really commit to it, and I don't want to.
ebf 12 when
Will you ever make a sequel to Adventure Story?
It's possible, but not a high priority.
Do you have a Collection of fancy swords like in game?
Nah.
Hello! Big fan of EBF, as well as the spin-offs. They've been an inspiration to me as a newbie game dev and artist. Excited for the stuff you make in the future!
What I wanna ask is: What is/was your process for making things in the EBF games? (Weapons, Armors, enemies, etc.) Was it doodling things until something stuck, or did you start with a general concept and go from there? Or was it some other method?
I start with the thematic requirements first, and try to come up with something that's different from everything else I've done so far.
Have you ever lewdly drawn Natalie? (As in nsfw)
You can't waterboard that information out of me.
@matt-likes-swords fair enough.
Why do the cats have no legs? Is it just so they're easier to animate?
Pretty much. They're also funnier that way.

back in the day, what annoyed you the most about flash?
whats most annoying about it now?
same for best then and best now?
what was the 'trash genre' of flash games of the day? stuff that many people made in a consistent genre that wasn't that great (stuff that got beyond blammed entries)
things are subjective, of course

Paying a subscription to Adobe for software that is essentially finished really sucks.
The drawing tools have always been buggy and still are, so that's consistently annoying.
It also doesn't take advantage of modern hardware, so buying a super fast computer won't really improve your experience much.
