EDIT: Added some new points.

Hay guys, after everyone's been spamming me with complaints I'm gonna briefly list the changes I plan for the sequel, so you can complain about these aswell:

Givin enemies less HP, especially for harder difficulties.
Addin 2 checkpoints and givin ye 2 continues.
Of course I'ma make the bosses a bit harder to compensate.
Will also fix the enemy's health meters.

Will add Limit Breaks, w00t.
They won't be without their downsides though, so don't think you can abuse them.

Adding a skill system where after every boss ye can choose a character bonus such as:
Warrior lvl 1
-Boosts all bushido by 20%
Elementalist lvl 1
-Boosts Glacier/Fireball/Thunderbolt by 25%
-Also boosts resistance to ice/fire/thunder attacks by 10%
Terrorist
-Gains an extra type of bomb for airstrike
Stamina
-Loses status ailments at the start of a turn 30% of the time
Chemist lvl 1
-Boosts the effect of potions and ethers by 25%
etc.
Your choice of skills will depend on how you play the game.
Hopefully this adds some replayability. Though trying to get it balanced is gonna be a pain, especially as buffing some skills may make others completely useless.
This may possibly ruin the game.

May also add some minigames at checkpoints for some variety and a chance to get some bonus money, since I have a lot of minigames on my site which I have not posted here.

Also plan on adding more interesting status-effects, such as berserk, auto-life, paralyse etc, but gonna try not to overdo it so that they don't get too annoying.

Also gonna add an accuracy system to give ye a chance to dodge attacks, of course the enemies can dodge your attacks too, and so I think low acc could be a useful handicap to balance out over powered skills (and the Soul Eater) and also add a bit more luck to the game. Of course if that really bothers you there will be a skill or two to boost your acc.

Will also add a mute button.

Finally may add some brief skippable slideshows for lulz and crap plots.
Well maybe not, but I'll do an intro cutscene at least, similar to the ending one just to get some people dragged in.

Obviously I'm gonna add moar skills, redesign the main characters and backgrounds etc, but the gameplay otherwise will remain mostly the same.

And the bad news is that I'm gonna try to use only original characters and music, just to open possibilities for a sponsorship.

And you took the advice of one of the guys who reviewed yer game. Hm. May be bad for your fans, but a guy's gotta make a living.

You should try and find like a guy who could do some awesome music for you, could make it that little bit more original but then again thats probs just going way overboard haha goodluck with this i look forward to it ^_^
I think a mutated super saiyan 4 gogeta would be a very good last boss ^_^
I never got to see the last boss on it coz i couldnt get past some of the bosses haha they were very difficult -_-

Even if you are sponsored, I'm pretty sure you can do veiled references, such as having your guy's hair shoot up and turn yellow when he uses temper, or having a guitar as a sword, or something. Seriously, it is pretty damn awesome to do stuff summon Canti.

i would to see some story

For an endless menu RPG, I actually enjoyed it. Definately better than Sonny. Although all of those RPGs are pretty blah IMHO. You should make a world to walk around in and an epic storyline. Then you'd have my respect! :D

Still, it's a good game. I'll begrudgingly admit that.

Great news. A couple of questions and suggestions:

Q: it's basically the same game with upgrades and some changed stuff or a complete revamp of the game with only the battle system left untouched?
Q: skill system sounds great. It's a skill for the guy and another for the girl or is it something they'll share?

S: for harder settings give bosses / enemies new abilities instead of just more HP.

IDK what else to say for now. Keep it up! :)

A: All new enemies, new player designs, a few new attacks (though the attacks will be the majority of the recycled graphics), new backgrounds, new everything else, old structure.

A:They each get their own.

S: Possibly. Though I'd hate for lazy people to miss out on too much stuff cause they want to play on easy.

Oh yeah, some plot-stuff would be nice. xD Story makes half the game.
I really hope you have the patience to do such a big project again - especially with original stuff only; and go a lil bit away from Final Fantasy. We Rpg-Enthusiasts already suffer from the "looks like ff" syndrome. xD
