what inspired you to start gamedev?
It's more interesting than doing just animation, and I started animation because I liked the attention from random people on the internet.
I know we got a character that is a cat with no legs. For the next new character(s), will we get a Dicephalan in the near future and if so will the character be female?
I don't know what that is.
Opinion on nsfw fanarts?
Depends on the fetish involved.
Who's your favorite character in EBF? Mine's lance as a character
Natalie, because she is hot.
The most fun part in developing a game, what is it for you?
Implementing new features/mechanics and having them work first try without tormenting me with bugs.

During the development of Epic Battle Fantasy 5, why did you add No-legs as a 5th party member and why did you give his overworld sprite legs?
Because a cat is easier and more interesting to animate than humans.
The legs were an accident that I kept in because it was funny - he uses the same walk animation as the other players.
If you were a burger king menu item, what would you be?
Ketchup.
@matt-likes-swords A dicephalan is what we refer to a being of conjoined twins who share one body but have two heads. I mean a manga author had one as well as a game developer.
Also another questions. What software did you use to make your art and games? Also you open to beta testers? And if you are open to beta testers, I would be happy to oblige to checking for any bugs.
It's think that's a bit too niche for EBF.
Everything is always made in Flash, and my beta testing is usually open to everyone when it's time.
Biggest inspirations for your game projects, art style, etc?
Maple Story, Golden Sun, Zelda.

I saw the news that Adobe AIR may be viable to work on the Nintendo Switch. If so, is it possible that we could get Epic Battle Fantasy 3 ported to it? Also, love your games, became a dev because of you.
The EBF games are designed for mouse controls, which port well to mobile touch controls.
Adding controller support would be a lot of work and I don't particularly want to do it.
I know Switch has a touchscreen, but most people don't play it that way.
At least the Steam Deck has a track-pad!
So... you play / know about Touhou, yes? (I'm assuming you do at least, cuz of the few references towards the series-)
Fav game and character? Also, have you noticed Matt's similarities to Marisa lol (blonde, loves firepower, loves to steal crap).
It's been many years since I played any Touhou games, and I didn't really get into the plot, I just liked the gameplay.
Got any videogame recommendations?
My favourite games I've played in the last 10 years are Doom Eternal, Undertale, Resident Evil 8, Age of Empires 2: DE, Pokemon Clover, Returnal, Astro Bot: Rescue Mission, Beat Saber, and Half Life Alyx.
Ever seriously considered doing EBF6? I know it's a meme, but I still have to ask.
And if not, ever considered doing a new RPG series with new protagonists?
I'm still on the fence. I have a document with ideas.
I don't think I could write new protagonists that are meaningfully different from the existing ones.
Did you ever think about dabblingn into NSFW art at any point on your career?

which slime, out of all the ones that you've drawn for EBF or any other game, is your favorite?
The Slime Bunny is special just due to it appearing in more prominent roles.
Do you like 4chan? I could swear I saw references to it here and there across all the games. Or is it just a nudge at Lance and being a chuddy
I don't visit much these days, but the culture was important to my early development, and artists like NCH85 inspired me a lot. Pokemon Clover is great too.
