I am looking forward to this. I was hoping I'd have a chance to try to break the game a little more in Beta, see if things freak out if I killed *unknown* first time. I'm not a fan of premium, but that won't detract me from enjoying the game in the least. I beat it in Beta, I beat it with cheats, now I'm going to beat it for NG medals, and just because the game is heck of a lot of fun.
I am a little sad about the loss of my uber-broken stat boosting area from EBF3. Beating that game on Epic was, well, epic, but the reward was so worth it. Got to the point of 1 shotting the final boss without a limit break. Might take a little longer here, but I'll manage it just the same.
Omgyus. THE WAIT SHALL BE WORTH IT.
Finally yeah!!
P.S: Love that tree robot~
Hold on. If we buy premium on Kong/Armor Games and afterwards purchase this game on Steam, will the premium thingy be there?
I'm looking forward to this very much. :D
i really cant wait to play it...seriously EBF is my favourite game serie here in NG
I would have posted this on Deviant Art, but... I don't have a Deviant Art and I'm fucking lazy as hell.
Hi, Bird of Terror Here. I'm that one guy who made VERY unofficial review based Guides for EBF2 and 3 because I was too lazy to actually make a real one. For what it's worth, they were voted up. So there's that.
Anyway, as I was playing the game, I ran into a couple things I simple hated. So here's my feedback in no particular order.
1: Enemies self inflicting themselves status effects granting medals. Such as burning themselves, then you getting a medal for burning them.
2: Counterattacking enemies- if it is the last enemy left in a group and KILLING IT will cause the next wave of enemies to come in and initiate their attacks on you as if it were still THEIR turn.
This causes the battle phase to essentially be, for example instead of 5 enemies on one screen, you kill every one of them with a counter and the next screen comes, 5 more enemies. This means in one turn, TEN enemies attacked you. F~U~C~K
3: There are a couple Events in the snowy town of which the name is escaping me at the moment: Where you can activate through a wall. While you are in the building. Causes massive immersion breaking.
4: God Hand, Lance's Holy Weapon blows. Buff it.
5: More attacks should have static damage and/or Not be effected by weapon elements. Because this is not true, I find myself constantly fighting annoying enemies that are 100% immune to just about everything I do. Instead of using a weak yet efficient attack to whittle them away, I'm forced to switch to a weapon that I don't really like; and is potentially not upgraded- but that's my problem, not yours.
Once I switch and kill said enemy, it almost ALWAYS summons enemies of the complete opposite element I am currently using, and am forced to switch "Again." This doesn't really make it 'hard,' as I beat the game on Epic anyway, just very annoying. Lances Hyper beam could easily pass for *Elementless.*
6: Boss 4 which I shall not name because of spoilers to these poor people, is incredibly inconsistent. One attempt, he gains buffs AND that clover buff that prevents buffing? I forget what it's called. Essentially making him an unstoppable killing machine, destroying everyone while I am unable to do anything about it. In another attempt, he folds like a wet napkin and dies in 10 turns.
Very unsatisfying fight.
I don't have much to say, so, can't wait. I believe there are more Easter eggs here?
What I meant earlier wasn't if it's the same stuff, I was asking if the unlock is linked over all "sources", so if I buy Steam's then does it let me unlock the stuff on NG/Kong/etc?
Nah, there's no way for me to do that.
Cannot wait!
I like EBF very much
Well you could in a very roundabout way. If someone buys the Steam version, they get an "unlock key" for the other versions, and if one buys the other version(s), they get a "free copy" of the Steam version.
Ah who am I kidding, I'd only play the NG or Steam versions anyway....
How well does a flash game work in Steam, anyway?

Binding of Isaac worked pretty well on there, so...
Great, slight lag and it double posts. Ugh.
This is awesome and whatnot, great fan of your work. But I have a question...
I beat the demo without the debug options, and I'm curious: What is going to change between the most recent demo and the official release?
Keep up the good work :)
Not much.
I'm a really BIG fan of your games, but i am having trouble getting past the first boss of the game. got any tips?
I would have bought this game on steam greenlight 10$.
When the game is fully released will we be able to import our saves from the beta to the full game?
No. The beta's save system was broken.
Why don't you post it here first?

So when in a previous response you say that the Steam version does not get the same unlocks as the website versions, do you mean it gets different stuff? Or are you saying it gets more/less stuff? Or that it is just unknown as of the current moment? Since as you said it will be a while for any Steam support. I mean I am not complaining of course, just wanting to see which one to plan for.
Also huge fan of your work and hope my questions are not a problem. :3

Oh, I think I misunderstood his question.
Yeah, it'll be the same stuff.
