Well, this sure seems interesting but I really didn't mind the difficulty. I don't want to boast but I found the game relatively challenging but easy.

For my first play-through, I tried the Normal difficulty and won the game on my first try. After that, I tried the Hard difficulty and found it way easier than Normal due to the fact that I was getting good at the game and knew what items and moves to use. Finally, for my third play-through, I tried the Epic difficulty. I didn't really find it hard but just stressful near the end, especially during the last boss. I managed to beat it on my first try and this really relieved some stress.

As a result, I got all the medals except the Owned and Fail ones. I had to play the game again on Epic difficulty and purposely get owned and killed by the final boss but, for some reason, the medals didn't work. So I basically did that for nothing until I decided to try the Easy difficulty and see if it's still possible to get owned at the end. I took a risk but this time it worked, I simply equipped the Soul Eater sword to lower my defense. Thankfully, the medals worked this time.

I know that most people are just casual gamers who really find your game hard but there are a few hardcore gamers like me who find it relatively easy and who like a challenge. If you make the sequel easier, those hardcore gamers might not really like it.

This is why I suggest you to lower the length of the game instead of the difficulty. What I mean is that the bosses in the Epic difficulty had a lot of HP which made the game horribly long. Instead of giving a lot more HP to them, why not making their attacks more powerful and add some new moves? You can also make it so that the characters you play as have less HP and MP on higher difficulties.

By lowering the length of the game instead of the difficulty, people who aren't experienced gamers won't be as discouraged when they lose the game. It's more discouraging to lose in a long game than a short one because starting over takes less time to reach the point where you lost.

I give you the challenge to make the sequel hard enough so that I can't beat it on all difficulties on the first try. In other words, make it a lot harder but shorter (bosses with less HP).

I usually write long reviews, comments and suggestions when I really like a game/movie and the author. In other words, I love Epic Battle Fantasy and all of your other games. I'm one of your greatest fans by the way. I love your style, your drawing skills and your games. Keep up the good work!

PS: Do you have the intention to add badges for this game on Kongregate? If yes, I'll wait until they're added before I play it there. If not, I will play it just for the sake of seeing my name in the high scores. However, do you think that I could get the badges automatically knowing the fact that I already got all the medals on Newgrounds? It's just that it's pretty long starting all over. I normally import the .sol file but this game doesn't have any because it doesn't save. Anyway, I'm just asking.

Badges are up to the staff at Kong I believe, and it's not doing all that well over there :/

You could also add a free mode where people could toggle on/off various aspects of the game, fx status, accuracy or skills, and pick enemies/handicap/etc. themselves ^^

Haha "seal skill" is such a dick move. Especially when you have only two characters. It just forces you to use antidotes.

Having your skill rely on chance seems a bit weak, I couldn't see this being near as useful as other specialties you've listed

Don't overdo insta deaths and insta lifes, either of which can make a game with way to easy to way to hard. Both extremes being not fun at all to play.

Kind of like I said before, I'd rather rely on luck as little as possible. I'd rather win or lose a fight based on a strategy (or failed strategy) than because my life steal missed, a key attacked was dodged, or I got lucky and dodged something that should have lost it for me.

As long as they don't go into a Goku complex where they just spam spirit bomb (or some other attack that WILL one shot you if you don't block it every other turn that's fine. As long as the difficulty of a boss fight is outsmarting them to some degree this is a more than welcome change.

Looks great. Big fan of your games. Great art and creativity. A type chart/tutorial might help, since the Giant Robot's weakness is only speculation and some of the enemies were annoying in that I didn't know I was attacking with a resisted attack

I swear Natalie(that is the new name for the White Mage right?) is blushing at least slightly all the time. Ever since Attack Of The Black Mages 4 I've noticed that. Well considering the cos-play costumes being used.... Can we change which outfits your characters are using in EBF2?

I hope you add stuff like an overworld and a plot, that'd be real nice :D

only hard thing for me is beating all the bosses on E.B.F(Epic Battle fantasy) and Brawl Royale(I DIE ON CANTI >_<)still all of them are fun i just can't get one acheivement..Pervert lol
