You plan on making anymore rpgs in the future? If so, would you be basing them off Final Fantasy like the ebf series or another jrpg like Shin Megami Tensei(both in reference and gameplay)

Been reading horror manga lately. Goodnight PunPun was really good, as well as Junji Ito's work.
Some advice for someone who wants to start game dev?
Is making games with flash a good option nowadays?
There's probably more accessible options. The worst part about Flash is that you have to pay a subscription to Adobe or sail the seven seas, but I think stuff like RPGmaker and Game Maker are really cheap and probably easier to use. But the best advice is to just do it as a hobby and get a more serious day job.
Are any of the game mechanics in the EBF series novel inventions (i.e. never, to your knowledge, been done before)? Percentile elements in particular are something that I've never seen done anywhere else—what inspired those?
I made an effort to make everything collectable in one playthrough with no points-of-no-return, made sure equipment never becomes outdated, and that status effects are actually impactful. I think that's all somewhat novel.
I think EBF5's damage multiplier system turned out super deep and cool, and I would continue to play into that if I made more.

Started off as a generic rival/villain. The film Valkyrie came out around that time.

What's your general attitude to politics in general
and the American shitshow happening in the specific.
It's really worrying and I'd love to go back to a time where it didn't concern me at all.
Growing up I always assumed the internet would give everyone access to stuff like Wikipedia and YouTube tutorials and make everyone smarter - but it turns out I live in a bubble of nerds, and most people just consume really stupid information now.

Pancakes. Either way, I think a lot of people serve them too sweet and need to tone them down.

Nope. I don't think I've ever used anything that is distinct enough to step on any toes.
The triforce is a really common symbol in Japan.

Maple Story, Golden Sun and Zelda quite a lot in the beginning.
