Have ever thought about updating ebf5 like you did with ebf4 like with new huds or new equips doesn't have to be a lot
I doesn't really need anything. The mobile version got a few extra features, but not enough to warrant an update for the PC version.
You seem to consider Lance more of a villain character still. Do you think he could ever be redeemed, or is that permanently his role?
Does Lance know he is the villain? Do the other party members still treat him that way, or are they more chill now that he stopped kidnapping Natz and destroying nature in a giant tank? (Did he even stop?) Is this kind of a Sonic and Shadow type deal, where it sometimes looks a friendly rivalry, but they are still sworn enemies, or more like Sonic and Knuckles, where they used to fight, but now they are friends? Did Natz ever forgive Lance?
How does Anna feel about Lance, since she didn’t know him back when he was more actively a villain?
I think Lance will probably continue doing evil things in future games, and at the very least be the most abrasive character in the group, for the contrast.
How did you handle translation? Your games are so well translated I thought it was made by a Brazilian the first time I played.

Fans translate the text on Google Docs. They get translation notes for everything, but they're allowed to localize jokes if they want to, and I think the Brazilian guys did that more than others.

I’ve had this question ever since I completed EBF4 and the EBF5 extra dungeons.
If godcat is the god of all cats, but God (EBF5) is also a cat, which one has more authority over the other? Did God create Godcat? And what about Akron? Where does he fall? Is he as powerful as God or less? Is the EBF5 glitch boss technically the most powerful because he slipped into the game without the Devourer noticing? It was just all very confusing
The power levels are all made up, just like in Dragon Ball Z.

Work on something easier or more interesting for a while. Try the other thing when I'm more motivated, or decide that it's a waste of time and drop it.

They are definitely dating by the end of EBF5, and in other games it is implied that they would end up doing so, while the other characters remain incels.
What has to be your most and least favorite game mechanics? Like, ever.
Mechanics that waste your time suck, usually in mobile games - come back for a daily challenge, grind too much, proc gen levels in games that don't benefit from it, etc.
Good mechanics are just anything that works meaningfully with all the other mechanics in the game, stuff that rewards you for learning it because there's a lot of unexpected ways it ends up being useful in various places.

I think you once mentioned something along the line of not having thought a lot about the name of Epic Battle Fantasy because you didn't think you would go far with it, so is there another named you would have rather given the games?
There won't be any more mainline EBF games, but will EBF TD ( https://kupogames.com/2013/11/12/epic-battle-fantasy-td/ ) ever be a thing?
Will you do other games similar to the EBF ones, gameplay-wise?
1. I think the name EBF turned out to be fine since it's similar to Final Fantasy and it signals the tone of the games quite well.
