amusing

Rofl'd at the guy hitting his head off ceilings.

Kinda frustrating at first but once I got used to the controls it was quite fun.
Got all the plats in easy mode so far, I'll do the rest later when I have time.

Is this the first game to use the High-Score API? It looks pretty cool.
I've tried using the one on Kongregate and was hoping NG would get something similar.

pixelz

My favourite thing about this game was exploring new areas.
There was a lot of scenic variety and collecting gems and pokedex entries was good motivation to explore every last tunnel.

The physics were a bit mehhh, and getting knocked out was annoying, but otherwise pretty fun.

kewls

Didn't like the default controls so I decided to play it with a PS2 pad with a similar config to GTA, and that seemed to work pretty well.

Annnyyywaay. Got a lot to comment.

The levels were very repetitive, though since they were pretty easy this wasn't too big an issue. Quite liked the race level though since that's a bit different from the generic top-down shooter.

Colliding with objects felt very awkward. Burnt cars should bounce out of the way when ye hit them, instead of just sitting there. Also getting stuck in corners was very frustrating, should probably try making the bouncing less annoying somehow.

Some of the later levels ran a bit slow, and I've got a pretty decent computer too, so I can imagine it's a lot worse for many people, though this can be seen as an advantage since it will make hard levels easier.

Collision detection on the bullets seemed a bit off, meh.

Loved the blood effects, and the NG tank's AI.
And I played it all the way to the end so it means it must be doing something right.

Seems I've missed some paints though, oh well, gonna have to go back and get those medals.

Epic

Dual wielding the mouse and the keyboard at the same time was a bit awkward at first, for a platformer anyway. I got used to it by the end of the demo though.

The level designs are some of the best I've seen in a Flash game.
The scoring system kind of reminded me of Yoshi's Island, where you had to find all the items in all levels to get points and unlock stuff.
This adds a lot of replayability to what would otherwise be a pretty short demo, and also challenged more advanced players.

The graphics are cute and very well done, the sounds and music go along nicely as well.

I can imagine the boss might be too hard for some people, it even took me a while to figure it out, and was still quite hard when it got to his last life.

I'm currently at 82K points, so I'm getting there, but still got a lot of scores to improve.

You should definitely continue with this.

w00 easy medals!

Found the cutscenes pretty amusing as well.

medal plez

Woah woah, this game's addictive.

But what happened to getting medals?!?
That would sure motivate me to get the in-game achievements.

Anyway, love the 8bit style.

not bad

I enjoyed the graphics and music.
Pretty funny to have a zombie arm as a weapon.

Otherwise, the gameplay wasn't very new or interesting but at least the medals were pretty easy to get.

neat

Heh, kept me entertained longer than I thought it would

neat

Nice graphics and pretty fun.

Was expecting to hear the song Fly Me To The Moon.

Pretty

Very nice art style.
Loved finding the deaths.

Blurb.
