Epic Battle Fantasy 4 is around 90% finished!
I'm putting in all the battles and trying to balance stat growth just now.
From my testing so far, it looks like the game will be twice as long as EBF3, which means it should take the average player 20 hours to complete. And if that's too long, one can always switch to Easy mode at any time to speed things up.
Sweet! I love long games, and this one looks especially good!

20 hours?
Took me less than a day for EBF3.
But I didn't get all of them quests done till my second go round.

Maybe we should have a speed run at some point.
It took me like....16 hours to beat EBF3 the first time around ._.
Then I kept going through it to level everyone up til they were up to around level 40.
I would like to request a speed-run timer for EBF4. (that stops when the game is paused, of course)
It would encourage more people to re-explore the game and would give it some replay value and challenge.
less minigame focus would be nice

OMG this is going to be AWSOME are there going to be more caractors or a part where if you have a certan party memeber you want you can swap them out or something like that that would be awsome i look forward to seeing this game huge fan of thist game series i just want to screem so loud in excite ment i have been lookign forward to this ever since i herd that it is a posability so ya i am hiped for this game

It looks quite nice and 20 hours is a good length.
The new monsters, textures, and status effects give it a more polished look in a way.
Is EBF4 going to have that same upgrading of every single weapon like EBF3 did? I didn't really enjoy it that much. Some of the different weapons were interesting to use, but upgrading some of them could be a pain at times, especially if the reagent you needed was rare and you had to build up cash for it.
I guess what I'm saying is that, while the upgrading system was a good idea, I just didn't really like how it was implemented in EBF3.
The upgrading has stayed pretty much the same...

Also, srsly, why not just do DL games at this point? With 20 hours of gameplay... Seems excessive.
