I'll probably skim through it, I enjoy getting other perspectives on stuff like this.
You should try something different now that you are free, like an alternative genre with a new style.
I always find that leaving your comfort zone is more exciting and keeps you going on a new project.

I honestly could never work on a series because I would be so bored with working the same way all the time. I was just suggesting your try something different (could be something small) to get your enthusiasm for gamedev back faster.
